C&C 37+ Half Hulls

Here are a few examples of half hull models of the C&C 37+ range that are available from different model builders:

This is a 40" long custom half hull model of the C&C 37+ "Obsession", built by Zuma Boat, mounted on a Walnut backboard.

Mas Azuma at Zuma Boat has been building large scale half hull sailboat models since 1970.  His half hull models are usually 30" to 50+" long.

Here is another example of Mas Azuma's work, the C&C 37R "Maggie".  This is a 26" model, mounted on a Ribbon Mahogany backboard. The model dimensions are 26" x 9" x 4.5". The size of the backboard is 30" x 12". The model scale is 1/18.5. The model weight is 11 lbs. The model has a cabin top and cockpit with open transom detail.

Zuma Boat models are built with 100% solid wood using the lifts method, built of 7 to 12 layers of wood, carved using custom templates.  Every one of Zuma's half hull models are custom built (except for the Melges 24 model).   It will take about 4 to 10+ weeks to build one to order.
